The primary purpose of this document is to provide a consolidated repository of Chlorine Institute materials pertaining to hydrogen systems found in chlor-alkali production facilities. Other producers, users or handlers of hydrogen gas can also have use of guidance provided. This document will give guidance about hydrogen in a gaseous state, liquefaction and liquefied hydrogen fall outside the scope of this document.
